This table is carefully hand crafted using solid Black Walnut.
The tapered legs are individually hand-planed to size, and attached with mortise and tenon joinery. This means no joints will loosen over time. The top is attached with Z-clip fasteners that allow for seasonal movement that is typical of any natural wood product.
Walnut wood is very strong and durable, and the size of this table makes it very versatile, while remaining large enough to provide a functional surface.
I use an environmentally-friendly, hard wax/oil finish - so it can stand up to regular use without releasing toxins into your home. The hand rubbed finish creates a beautiful satiny sheen that adds warmth to your space.
A lot of care that is taken during productiom to make sure this table will last for decades!
